I am very pleased to tell you all that we are officially opening the doors to The Brewer’s Table today – Thursday, April 19th, 2018!
They always say that everything really comes together in the final weeks, days, and hours and, let me tell you, that really is how it happens. In the last month, we have seen every one of the hundred tasks that needed to happen in a proper sequence for us to open fall into place. The last design details, pieces of art, picnic tables outside, parking lot, and menu design elements are all complete. Those details alone are plenty but when you combine them with the regimen of inspections and staff training, it gets pretty exciting.
One of our striving points for excellence at The Brewer’s Table will be service. Training for our team began on Monday,
Hello TBT Family!
Firstly, thank you for your continued enthusiasm and support for The Brewer’s Table.
Things are proceeding nicely with construction and we can confidently say that we will be open to the public by early to mid-March. Unforeseen issues such as a delay with the city not assigning the inspector for our new fire and water lines has set us back a few weeks, but our contractor is determined to make up time as best they can. We are pursuing all avenues on this front. Once we have further information regarding the city inspector, we’ll provide a better update on the timeline.
Final menu development for launch is going quite well. Chef Zach and his team are busy putting the final touches on the various recipes for our lunch, brunch, happy hour and dinner menus.
The last month has been quite something! TBT continued the fall event season with food events in Dallas and Austin while continuing the various processes that go into opening a restaurant and brewery. It’s definitely been a busy time, but things have now begun to calm down as we re-double our energies and attention toward opening in the spring.
Construction is proceeding on schedule. In the last several weeks framing has been completed and plumbing and electrical work nears completion as well. We are currently on schedule to get our certificate of occupancy (CO) in late February. Opening schedule details will follow once that date is confirmed!
Lastly, thank you to all our TBT investors that came out to our hard hat parties! Those two parties ended our year-long streak of 32 p
Construction is in it’s 10th week and we’re right on schedule. Framing is nearly complete and we’re continuing to work on plumbing. We’ve also participated in many events where we have served food and beer for all attendees, some of those being the Texas Craft Brewer’s Festival and Park and Palate in Dallas- just to name a few! In addition, our pre-opening investor preview party is coming up this December 2nd and 3rd! If you haven’t RSVP’d, please do so by sending an email to Lindsey@cultivatepr.com.
The last few weeks have seen quite a bit of activity for The Brewer’s Table. Construction and pop-up events coincide with menu and equipment planning, keeping our small staff quite busy! From new concrete floors to new grease traps, we are seeing everything come together. Continue to stay tuned!
There are many projects brewing at The Brewer’s Table! Construction began last month and our team has been hitting the road to have TBT at beer-centric events. We are also excited to be participating at the James Beard Foundations Taste America Tour in Austin on November 2nd! Our “Hard Hat” Pre-Opening parties will take place the first week of December, an email to our investors will go out in the next few months to RSVP. Continue to stay tuned!

Our team just returned from a very successful pop up dinner with Brooklyn Brewery and Garrett Oliver in Brooklyn, NY. We hosted a private dinner for 60 media, press, and influencers at the Museum of Food & Drink where we served multiple courses highlighting our innovative approach to food as we explored one of Brooklyn Brewery’s much hyped limited release beers, Cloaking Device.
Additionally, the team spent the following two days meeting with major publications in NYC. We’re prou

The Brewer’s Table has been working diligently to round out our team, generate significant press, work toward breaking ground on construction and refine our experience.
We’re pleased to report that Zach Hunter has accepted our offer to join The Brewer’s Table as Executive Chef. Zach is one of the most talked about chefs in Austin, having previously served as Chef de Cuisine of Fixe. Zach previously worked at two different Michelin-starred restaurants in New York. We couldn’t be more excited about his decision to create one of the most unique food and beer experiences in the country!
Additionally, we have now hosted two pop-up dinners for media and press at Franklin Barbecue (Austin, TX) and with New Belgium Brewery (Fort Collins, CO). We’re definitely humbled by the great medi
