We are open!!

We have some very exciting news to share with you: Oxalis officially opened its doors on Wednesday, November 28th.

While we are still waiting for our liquor license to be finalized with the New York State Liquor Authority, we have started serving our food and a unique non-alcoholic beverage program here in Brooklyn. Our neighbors have been ecstatic and welcoming, making us feel that Oxalis is a welcome addition to the community.

We’re also happy to share that the press around our launch has been fantastic. Our PR Agency, Mona Creative, has done an outstanding job getting word out about our opening. In just about two weeks-time, Oxalis vaulted onto Eater’s Brooklyn Heat Map as one of Brooklyn’s hottest restaurants and landed itself as #7 on New York Magazine’s Grub Street’s 12

Attached are the photos of our completed and opened restaurant. We are incredibly grateful to have a permanent home after years of roving pop-up dinners and thank each and every one of you for being a critical part of our story. We're past the halfway point of construction!

We’re thrilled to be able to provide some updates on our progress.

While we won’t be able to announce a date for opening until we’re much closer, we’re past the halfway point of construction! The walls are painted, the floor is stained, and the new bar is in place in our patio, where we’ve poured over 7 tons of concrete as we convert it into a year-round space.

We also recently hired several people in our management team, including our General Manager Gabriel and Paige McMahon, an incredibly talented pastry chef. They are excited to meet each and every one of you.
