Account Opening Requirements and Options

To become an investor on NextSeed, you will need to create a NextSeed investment account.

This account is where you will monitor your investments and manage your funds.

Why do I need to create a NextSeed investment account?

All investments are made from funds in your NextSeed investment account. Any payments from debt investments or distributions for preferred equity investments from businesses will be deposited directly into your NextSeed account.

Why do I need to provide my SSN?

Your NextSeed investment account is provided by our banking partner, Happy State Bank dba GoldStar Trust. The bank is required to verify your identity according to federal Know Your Customer/Anti-Money Laundering regulations.

This is also why, at this time, only U.S. residents will be able to create NextSeed accounts for investing.

Why do I need to link my own account?

You will need to link your bank account in order to easily transfer funds in and out of your NextSeed investment account. Deposits and withdrawals are free via ACH and can be made at any time.

3 options

1. An individual investment account

2. An entity investment account

3. A self-directed IRA investment account

The uninvested cash in your account is FDIC-insured up to $250,000 by our partner bank and is interest-bearing.

We safeguard your information with bank-level security measures.
