PORTERS, a 6,000-square foot approachable yet upscale dining destination in Bryan-College Station, TX officially opened for business last month.
Located in the heart of Century Square, Bryan-College Station’s premier walkable, urban destination, PORTERS represents a new level of dining sophistication in the booming college town, home to Texas A&M University. A thoughtfully crafted menu features steaks from an in-house butcher shop and other seasonal specialties prepared on a custom wood fired grill.
Like many independently owned businesses, PORTERS made a concerted effort to support other entrepreneurs in building its restaurant. Many of the bespoke interior elements, including dramatic front doors and massive wine racks, were crafted by rootlab, a design and fabrication shop located in Houston’s burgeoning East End.
A partnership between Houston-based Midway Companies and Bill Greenwood and Chuck Criswell’s Chill Restauraunt Group, PORTERS raised $500,000 from 254 investors on NextSeed in May 2017.
Congratulations Bill, Chuck and the Midway team!
